NBS Celebrates Its 35th Anniversary
NBS Communications, one of the longest-established and most experienced PR agencies in Poland, is celebrating its 35th anniversary. Since its founding in 1990, the agency has been setting standards in communication within the capital markets and has been supporting clients in financial and corporate communications.
In 1990, when Poland’s capital market was just beginning to take shape and business communication primarily relied on phones and fax machines, NBS Communications was founded. Today, 35 years later, the agency operates in the world of digital, multi-channel, and global communication. Over these years, it has witnessed technological breakthroughs, successive economic cycles, and generational changes in business. It is precisely this ability to continuously evolve that NBS Communications celebrates today.
“Our 35 years are the history of a market that was created before our very eyes. We started when there was no internet, no social media, no individual investors in today’s sense, and PR was a novelty in Poland. Today, we advise companies that communicate simultaneously with investors, customers, regulators, and local communities. Everything has changed during this time – except for the standards we have created,” says Anna Krajewska, Founder of NBS Communications.
NBS Communications specializes in capital market communications, corporate PR, crisis and internal communications, as well as public affairs. The agency supports both Polish and international clients across a wide range of industries, helping them navigate complex political, economic, and legal environments. These activities are based, among others, on media relations, digital channels, social media, and the use of influencer marketing.
The agency’s portfolio includes projects delivered for companies and institutions across multiple sectors, from energy, banking, and finance to real estate, recycling, retail, FMCG, fashion, automotive, IT, and gaming.
From IPOs to Social Campaigns
Since the inception of Poland’s capital market, NBS Communications has been involved in its most significant moments. The agency has carried out informational campaigns supporting major stock market debuts and privatizations, including BRE, WBK, Pekao SA, Telekomunikacja Polska, PKN Orlen, PGE, GPW, PZU, as well as the largest IPO in the history of the Polish market – Allegro. In recent years, it has supported companies such as Pepco Group, Grupa Pracuj, Spyrosoft, and Murapol. NBS Communications has also participated in major M&A transactions, including the acquisition of Telewizja Polsat, the sale of Emitel, the merger of Bank BGŻ and BNP Paribas Bank Polska, and the acquisition of Alumetal.
“Working with listed companies and supporting their investor relations, IPOs, and M&A projects is a highly specialized area of communication. It requires deep knowledge, absolute precision, and trust – and trust is built over time. Among the key people in our company are former journalists and capital market communication specialists. This translates into experience and expertise in financial PR. Our strength lies in a stable, senior team capable of guiding clients through the most demanding processes,” says Piotr Wojtaszek, CEO of NBS Communications.
Looking Towards the Future
For the agency, the anniversary is not only a moment for reflection, but above all an opportunity to define its direction for the years ahead.
“The strength of NBS lies in the combination of experience, creativity, and openness to new areas of communication. We help clients respond to a rapidly changing environment, actively developing competencies in areas shaping the future of PR – from data-driven communication, through building strong opinion leaders, to reputation management in the era of disinformation. These are challenges that largely define the market,” says Piotr Wojtaszek.
“Our anniversary gives us energy. Technologies, channels, and expectations change, but one thing remains constant: the need for good, reliable, and effective communication. This is the mission we want to continue to develop in the years to come,” adds Anna Krajewska.
Currently, NBS Communications’ clients include Arval Service Lease Polska, BNP Paribas Bank, BEST, BNP Paribas Cardif Polska, Dr Gerard, Dom Development, Grupa Pracuj, Kino Polska, Pepco Group, Spyrosoft, Synektik, and WITTCHEN.
